Several articles have been written in PCT magazine, which is the industry publication for the NPMA about Formosan Termites and our company's involvement in the research and treatment of these in North Carolina. We are a member of the NCPCA actively involved in the association.
|
Formosan termites were first found in our area in the mid 90's by our company. These are non-native termites to our area and are believed to have been introduced into the area in railroad ties. The area affected is along a 3 mile stretch through Forest City, Spindale, Rutherfordton and Ruth. We have continually been in the forefront of the treatment, monitoring and research of these termites.
